Terms of Service

1. What Rungio does
Rungio is a software service that helps you find job postings, evaluates each one against your CV using AI, drafts tailored CVs and cover letters, and — where the destination portal allows it — submits the application on your behalf. You are the candidate; we are the tool you use.
2. Your account
You sign in with email + password (or an OAuth provider like Google) via Clerk. One account = one workspace. You give us a CV (paste text or upload PDF) and a search filter (titles, locations, etc.). All AI evaluations and outputs are produced from that data plus public job descriptions we discover.
You can delete your account at any time from your Profile page. Deletion is immediate and irreversible and removes every database row, every generated CV/cover letter PDF, every submission screenshot, and every piece of metadata associated with your workspace.
3. Credits and money
Rungio is pay-as-you-go. There is no subscription. You buy credit packs once, and credits get spent on AI actions (job evaluations, CV tailoring, cover letter generation, auto-submit). Current packs:
- Starter — $5 for 500 credits
- Standard — $10 for 1,100 credits (+10% bonus)
- Power — $25 for 2,900 credits (+16% bonus)
New accounts receive 200 credits free on email verification — enough to try the full discover → evaluate → tailor → apply loop with no payment. We may change trial size in the future; existing trials are not affected retroactively.
4. Credit expiry (6-month sliding window)
Every credit (trial, purchased, referral) expires 6 months from your most recent top-up. Buying a new pack resets the expiry on all existing credits to 6 months from the new purchase date. This keeps active users from losing credits while limiting our long-tail balance-sheet liability.
5. Refunds
Pack purchases: we refund unused credits within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days, purchased credits are non-refundable (but they don't expire for 6 months — see §4). Email gaurav@rungio.com to request a refund. Refunds are issued via the original payment method (Stripe).
Auto-submit failures: if our auto-submission attempt fails on a supported portal, we automatically refund the auto-submit credit (currently 75 credits). The credits spent on tailoring your CV and cover letter are not refunded — those artifacts were delivered and you can submit manually.
Chargebacks: if you initiate a chargeback with your card issuer, we'll freeze your workspace pending review.
6. Service shutdown — credits forfeit
If Rungio shuts down, any unspent credits — purchased, trial, or referral — are forfeited and not refundable. We mention this upfront so you can size purchases accordingly. Real talk: a small SaaS can always go away. We'd give as much notice as we can, but we can't promise a runway.
7. Auto-submission policy
We auto-submit applications only on portals where the platform's terms of service permit automated submissions and where we have validated the form structure. Today that's Ashby, Greenhouse, and Lever. For any other portal — including LinkedIn, Indeed, Workday, Glassdoor, and Seek — we deliver a tailored CV and cover letter for you to submit manually. We do not automate submissions on those platforms.
8. AI processing — disclosure
Producing your evaluations and tailored documents requires sending your CV text and the relevant job description to third-party AI providers: Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, OpenAI GPT, and (for auto-submit) Browserbase managed Chromium. Each provider has its own data processing addendum; we use their enterprise API endpoints which do not train on your data.
We do not train any models on your data. We do not sell your data. We do not share it beyond the AI providers strictly required to render the service.
9. Refer-a-friend
Each workspace gets a unique referral link. When a friend signs up via your link and verifies their email, you each receive 200 bonus credits. Capped at 10 successful referrals per workspace lifetime. Referral credits follow the same 6-month sliding expiry as purchased credits. Self-referrals (same email domain) are blocked.
10. Geographic availability
Available worldwide for sign-up. Paid pack purchases via Stripe are currently restricted to billing addresses in: United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and United Kingdom. Other regions can use the trial credits but cannot purchase additional packs at this time.
11. Acceptable use
Don't use Rungio to apply for jobs you don't intend to accept, generate fraudulent CVs, harass employers, or attempt to circumvent our portal restrictions (e.g., via API). Repeated violations result in account suspension without refund.
12. Service warranty
Rungio is provided "as is." AI outputs are best-effort and may contain errors — review every CV and cover letter before submission. Auto-submit may fail (form changes, anti-bot detection, edge cases) and we surface failures clearly with refund. We make no guarantees about job outcomes — interviews and offers depend on your real skills, experience, market conditions, and employer decisions, none of which we control.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes (pricing, refund policy, data handling) will be announced via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
